Everything was as great as it could be. The location was stunning and marvellous in a domestic area, adjacent to the mountains of the Daintree rainforest and a hill with an amazing view of Thornton Peak. Enjoyed my stay, had an awesome experience.

Our weekend getaway was truly amazing! the fresh fruits, muesli, and coffee provided were a great start to our day. the open-air bathroom had the most stunning view of the valley, mountains, and stars at night. the outdoor cooking facilities were so convenient for us, and we enjoyed preparing our own meals. the location was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery, birds, and butterflies. We had such a great time exploring the nearby local restaurants and hotel at a short distance away.
The lack of air conditioning. It got a bit too warm for our liking, especially during the day.

Amazing Views and Great Breakfast
I recently stayed at a secluded retreat in Far North Queensland and was blown away by the stunning views of Thornton Peak. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with a peaceful and serene atmosphere that allowed me to fully unwind and relax. I also loved the fresh and delicious array of locally-sourced fruits that were offered, which made for a fantastic breakfast. Additionally, the handmade soaps and bath salts were a delightful and luxurious touch.
The only downside of my stay was the lack of air conditioning. While there was a fan provided, it was quite old and noisy, which made sleeping a bit difficult. I would suggest bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. the lack of air conditioning did not detract from the enjoyable experience, but it's something to consider for those who are sensitive to heat.

the hosts were helpful and keen to provide insights about the location. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing in our room, which overlooked the mountains of the rainforest. the room had eco-friendly facilities and a rammed earth bath. the included breakfast had lots of fresh fruit and local tea and coffee options. We loved the boutique homemade soap.
The room's servicing was not done regularly, which was quite inconvenient.
